Our very own Carolina Gallop is working on the design and coordinating the volunteers to construct the table cloth. If you have taken one of our Total Beginner Sewing Classes in the past year, we invite you to help Carolina bring the piece to life by signing up here to help out with this massive labor of love. And we invite the whole community to join Ricrack at The Welcome Table. |

THIS WEEKEND! Our monthly Community Textile Recycling Days serve as collection points for end-of-life textiles, diverting them from landfills. These events educate the public on responsible textile disposal. In January 2024 we received 3,927 lbs (1.96 tons) of donated materials (fabric, wardrobe, etc.) That's an average of 126 bs per day! We collected 125 pounds at our January Community Textile Recycling Day. *98.5 for the textile recycler, 21.5 for local animal rescues, and 5 lbs bound for Ricrack!* | | |
