Our Mission

ricRACK transforms textile waste into opportunity - teaching heritage skills and building a sustainable New Orleans.

ricRACK is an inclusive space for the creative community of New Orleans.

Our primary objectives include keeping textiles out of the landfill and

teaching all of New Orleans how to sew.

Our Creative Reuse Shop carries a curated selection of clothing, accessories, jewelry and more; in addition to a wide selection of fabric, notions, and various

fiber arts related supplies.

In our Community Sewing Studio, we offer a wide assortment of classes geared to

ages 8 and up. Please see our COURSES in the menu above to see our current offerings.

In addition to the classes in our sewing studio, we also partner with many local schools, museums, libraries, community centers, and more to teach kids and adults how to sew. If you are interested in partnering, please email outreach@ricracknola.com
